Speeds of recitation, breath control, and refining your voice without singing.
The three speeds
Tahqiq: very slow, for learning. Tadwir: moderate. Hadr: fast but still fully applying the rules. Never let speed swallow a madd or a ghunnah.
Breath and phrasing
Plan your breath to land on a meaningful stop. Take a full, silent breath from the diaphragm; avoid gasping mid-phrase or clipping a final madd to reach the next word.
Beauty without excess
Beautifying the voice is encouraged, but melody must never distort a rule — no added madd for effect, no altered letters to fit a tune.

وَرَتِّلِ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَرْتِيلًا
